Joshua Alford joined Alford & Associates in January 2017 as an Employee Benefits Consultant. His experience as a licensed insurance agent and risk manager allows him to offer his clients a variety of services including employee benefits packages and property and casualty insurance.
Josh is proud to work for a business that places a high value on customer satisfaction, and he hopes to bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to build upon the company’s already strong foundation. He is focused on building and maintaining good customer relationships and helping Alford & Associates to remain competitive in the marketplace.
Josh’s past career experience includes working in the Louisiana House of Representatives as a clerk for both the Natural Resources Committee and the Agriculture Committee. Josh was also a safety instructor for Falck Safety Services where he worked training employees in water survival techniques.
Giving back to his community is also important to Josh. As a member of Future Leaders of America’s Gulf (FLAG), he was a dedicated volunteer helping with recovery efforts following the BP oil spill. Currently, Josh serves as a board member of the Houma-Terrebonne Airport Commission.
Josh is a 2012 graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and a 2016 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
